
Lesa has been in the helping profession since 2006. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University before moving to Kalamazoo and completing her Master of Social Work. Lesa’s passion is in addressing cyclical trauma within families through therapy. She is a proud mother and has held the titles of biological mother, foster mother, step-mother, and adoptive mother throughout the years. As such, Lesa understands that parenting is one of the most difficult jobs a person can have. Lesa is passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential. Lesa is trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT and her treatment areas include working with adolescents, children, and adults with trauma-related symptoms.
Lesa has five children. On her down time, Lesa enjoys reading, biking, gardening, and spending time with friends.

Jessica entered the field of social work in 2018 and has worked as a therapist since 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2014 from Ferris State University and her Master of Social Work degree focusing on interpersonal practice in 2018. Jessica is a former school social worker who has experience in working with children and adolescents. Jessica is passionate about helping clients address trauma and learn coping skills. Jessica helps clients recognize their strengths and use them to adapt to and face hardships. She has overcome personal hardships from her childhood and understands the impact childhood trauma has on a biological, social and psychological level. Jessica is trained in EMDR, CBT, and TF-CBT. She specializes in working with children ages 10 and up, adolescents and adults with symptoms from trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Jessica has a husband named Michael, two dogs named Bud and Odin and a cat named Olivia. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking/baking, arts & crafts and being active outdoors.

Leslie has worked with children and families since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2015 from Western Michigan University and her Master of Social Work degree focusing on interpersonal practice in 2022. Leslie’s passion is working with individuals and families who may be battling with mental health, relationships issues, or just need someone to talk to. Leslie has been a foster care worker for the past seven years working families and children. Leslie is passionate about working with clients who have endured trauma or are dealing with mental health issues. She wants individuals to understand that it is normally to worry or feel pressured when facing a stressful situation. Leslie assists clients in identifying their strengths so they can adjust and deal with challenges. She understands the effects of childhood trauma because she overcame several personal challenges throughout her childhood. Leslie is trained in CBT, DBT and TF-CBT. Her treatment areas include working with adolescents, families, and adults with trauma related symptoms. On her downtime, Leslie enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and playing basketball.

As a holistic therapist, Honalee integrates mind, body, and spirit approaches to support individuals facing challenges such as substance misuse, stress, trauma, and parenting. With years of experience, she utilizes evidence-based techniques alongside mindfulness to foster healing and resilience. Her compassionate, client-centered approach creates a safe space for exploration and growth. Honalee believes in empowering clients to reconnect with their inner strengths and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we embark on a transformative journey toward well-being and fulfillment.

Falon is passionate about helping clients discover their goals for themselves and learn healthy new coping skills and behavioral techniques to reach those goals. Falon specializes in working with youth, adolescents and their families as well as adults with issues such as depression, behavioral issues, anxiety/stress, trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harm, self-esteem, anger, family issues, emotional disturbance, ADHD, bullying, sexuality, mood disorders, school and social issues, grief and relational problems. All are welcome in her office!
Falon has graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2013. She then earned her Masters degree in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University in 2017. Falon has several years of experience working with children and families in the foster care system and has provided counseling services in community mental health outpatient settings, residential settings, schools and home-based therapy. Falon is currently also a full time school-based clinician at an Elementary school.
Falon currently lives in a small town south of Portage with her husband, young daughter and two Orange cats, lovingly referred to as her “orange girls”. Falon enjoys traveling with her family, reading, attending concerts and shows and Football Sundays in the Fall!

Ben has been counseling individuals and families since 2017, after receiving his Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling. He is currently working on his doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Western Michigan University. Ben utilizes a strengths-based approach with clients, helping them to identify existing strengths to manage and cope with obstacles and challenges. He empowers clients to actively engage in their lives, encouraging present centeredness and purposeful living. Ben has previously worked with adolescents within the foster care and juvenile justice systems. He has significant experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms,
autism/Asperger’s syndrome, and issues related to sexuality and sex. Ben is passionate about working with and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community. He understands and has personally experienced the impact of oppressive attitudes and systems on members of the community. Other areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders and concerns and issues related to sex and sexuality. During his free time, Ben enjoys working out, outdoor activities,
spending time with friends and family, playing guitar and playing video games.

Amanda's passion is helping individuals of all ages, and families in individual or group settings. From time to time, everyone experiences challenges and her aim is to provide the support and evidence-based strategies to help with life's difficulties in a safe/non-judgmental environment. Life does not always go the way we planned. Sometimes we are faced with obstacles that can lead to depression, anxiety, anger, grief, and many other emotions. You may even feel your life is unmanageable or out of control. However, you are not alone.

Jamor has been working in mental health and recovery for more than 12 years holding the titles of Peer Support, Recovery Coach, Team Lead, Case Manager and Therapist.
He brings a diverse and unique perspective to therapy through CBT, DBT, motivation interviewing, goal planning and skill building.
Having personal experience with mental health and SUD services, he understands the difficulty of maintaining stability while trying to navigate life's obstacles.

Tianna received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2023. She currently works as a mental health therapist for Kalamazoo Public Schools, supporting elementary-aged children. Tianna is passionate about working with individuals of all backgrounds and navigating life’s challenges but has a particular interest in helping clients process trauma. She also has experience working with children, youth, and families, including past work with refugees.
Tianna has a deep passion for foster care and adoption, which is reflected in her personal and professional life. She lives with her partner, her five-year-old foster child, and two friendly cats. Tianna loves traveling, staying active, and spending time in her close-knit community. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring new places, creating meaningful experiences with her family, and connecting with others.

Lisa earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and a Master's of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Her professional journey has taken her through various roles in child welfare, working with children with severe emotional disturbance and their families. She also works with adults struggling with substance use.
Lisa is certified in trauma-informed care and deeply believes that everyone deserves a safe and supportive environment to explore their feelings and struggles. Her goal is to create a compassionate space where individuals can feel heard, understood, and empowered on their path toward healing and growth. She looks forward to working together to help others achieve their personal goals and enhance their well-being.
